MURFREESBORO - Sophomore Justin Bagbey has another honor to add to his growing list of athletic achievements this year after being named the NCCAA South Region Player of the Year for baseball. Bagbey was named this year's CIAA Baseball Player of the Year in April after turning in a solid sophomore season. He led the league in homeruns (13) this season and hit at a .437 clip. 

Bagbey collected 12 doubles and 47 RBI while also posting a .991 fielding percentage this season for the 24-23-1 Hawks. Bagbey was also named to the All-CIAA First Team at firstbase and NCCAA All South Region-Infielder.
