HAMPTON, VA- The Chowan University volleyball team moves to 2-0 in pool play on Friday at the CIAA Volleyball Championship after a 3-0 victory over the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings. 
 
All-CIAA First Team selection Karina Monroe led the squad with 15 kills in the win.  Monica Ruffin chipped in with 12, and All-CIAA First Team selection Callie Armistead tallied 35 assists. 
 
The Hawks will play their final pool play game against Livingstone College on Friday night at 7:00 pm.  Both teams enter the final match of pool play with a 2-0 record.
