FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The women's bowling team finished up in fourth place out of six participating teams at this weekend's CIAA West Division Round Up hosted by Fayetteville State University. The Hawks finished the three-day tournament with a 713.3 team average. Fayetteville State University wrapped up the top spot in the tournament after averaging 1000.2 over the three days.
The Hawks went 1-4 in match play on Friday afternoon. Their win was bowled against Livingstone, winning with a 690-624 final match score. On Saturday the Hawks also finished up 1-4 with their lone win coming over Shaw, 785-734.
Sunday's Baker Format play saw the Hawks finish up 2-3 with wins over Shaw (635-626) and Livingstone (544-466).
Kristy Brown averaged a team high 166.66 per game while
Sophia Mitchell came in behind her at 158.33.
