ELIZABETH CITY, NC - Freshman Corey Garvey shot a low round of 74 and earned Medalist honors today in day two play of the ECSU Invitational. Today's round was played at The Pines Country Club in Elizabeth City. The Hawks finished in second place behind Virginia State with 336 strokes. VSU shot 313 as a team to take the top spot for the second consecutive day.

Cliff Forbes shot an 80 today while Calvin Wyrick turned in an 86. John Riddick rounded out the top scorers for CU with a 96.

The Hawks will tee it up again on March 7th at the CIAA West Division Round up at Scotch Pine Reserve in Merry Hill, NC.
