SALISBURY, NC - The women's bowling team finished in second place this weekend at the CIAA West Division Round Up hosted by Livingstone College. The Hawks took second place out of the six CIAA West Division teams participating. Individually, CU's
Kristy Brown averaged 177.2 over the weekend, making her the third best bowler at the tournament. She rolled two, 200 plus games in the tournament.
Fayetteville State took the top spot in the tournament and featured the tournament's top bowler in Akira Turner. She averaged 202.75 per game to help lead her team to the top finish.
The Hawks will bowl again in another CIAA West Match up hosted by Shaw University in Raleigh on February 5-7th.
