GREENSBORO - The women's soccer team lost their seventh straight match this afternoon after losing 2-0 to Greensboro College. The Hawks fall to 1-8 after today's match while Greensboro College improves their overall record to 2-4.

After playing to a 0-0 halftime score, Greensboro College's Michelle Reger slipped one by keeper Kristy Brown for a 1-0 lead at the 74:17 mark of the match. Cara Wilcox scored at the 89:45 mark to give Greensboro a 2-0 win over the visiting Hawks.

Chowan had 10 shots in the match with Clara Danzeisen and Katie Duncan getting three shots each. Jillian Ferns had two shots in the loss. Brown played all 90 minutes in goal, allowing two goals and getting eight saves.

The Hawks will host Southern Virginia University on Wednesday in a 2:00pm match.
