LOUISBURG, NC - The golf team wrapped up the two-day Louisburg College Fusillade Challenge in 9th place out of nine participating teams after shooting a 715 over 36 holes. Louisburg topped the leader board again after day two to take the challenge with a 595 over 36 holes.

Cliff Forbes shot a two-day total of 163 (76, 85) and was just eight shots off the lead after the first 18 holes. Forbes shot an 85 today while Michael Edwards came in with a 90 today. Edwards totaled 182 strokes over 36 holes in the challenge. Josh Bryant shot an 82 and a 94 over 36 holes while David Brooks (96, 104) and Gregg Brooks (101, 98) rounded out the Hawks' scoring.

The Hawks will hit the links again on Thursday as they travel to play in a dual meet with Newport News Apprentice School.
