WILSON, NC - The golf team finished up 16th out of 17 teams at the Hampton Inn-Barton College Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon. Chowan wrapped up with a two-day total of 748, which was 151 strokes off the lead. Barton College won the two-day tournament after shooting a 597 as a team.

Chowan's Cliff Forbes tallied 170 strokes over two-days to lead the team while Michael Edwards came in behind him at 186 (95, 91). Josh Bryant finished up with a 92 and a 98 over two rounds while Gregg Brooks has a 103 and a 99. John Riddick rounded out the top five scorers for the Hawks with a 108 and a 100 over two rounds.

The Hawks will participate in the Don Scalf Classic this weekend hosted by North Carolina Wesleyan College.
