FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA - The women's soccer teams 2009 season came to an end today after falling in double overtime to Emmanuel College at the NCCAA South Region Play in match this afternoon. The Hawks fell 1-0 in the match, halting their hopes to continue their season as one of the top four teams in the NCCAA Region.

Soccer Teams Headed South for NCCAA Play-In Matches

MURFREEESBORO - Both the men's and women's soccer teams have extended their 2009 playing seasons with an invitation to the 2009 NCCAA South Region Tournament. However both teams will have to compete in a play-in match before making it to the four-team tournament which is being held at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia on November 20-21st.

Late Goal Lifts Newberry Over Chowan

NEWBERRY, SC - A late goal by Newberry College propelled them to a 2-1 victory over the women's soccer team this afternoon. The Hawks were out shot 29 to five in the match. The fall to 5-12 on the year after today's loss.
