MURFREESBORO - Chowan University's Head Baseball Coach, Aaron Carroll, will be a featured guest on tonight's Talkin' Sports with Gattis Hodges. Carroll is coming off a NCCAA South Region Championship this past weekend. With the title, the team won a bid to the NCCAA World Series May 21st.

Carroll and the Hawks claimed the title after coming out of the loser bracket to win four straight, including knocking off the #1 seed, ousting the #3 seed, and beating the winner bracket finalist twice. Carroll grabbed NCCAA South Region Coach of the Year honors for his efforts this season. The skipper now has two South Region Titles to call his own after winning in 2005.

The Hawks will travel to Struthers, Ohio where they will play in the NCCAA World Series. Brackets and seedings will be released after the remaining regions wrap up their tournaments. Play is set to start on May 21st.
